Great landing spot for Schaub if you ask me. I think he just needs a change of scenery.
Smart move by Oakland. |

They are improving. They've figured out not to trade 2 firsts for crappy quarterbacks.

If the Raiders draft Sammy Watkins, Schaub will have James Jones, Watkins and Moore to throw to

He had a bad run, but the guy started for 5 years and never had a rating below 90.

Our FO saw this coming from a mile away. That's why they signed Joe Mays to hopefully take off part of his other ear.

If I were them I would draft Watkins now. Adding Schaub makes that a reasonable and likely pick IMO.

The right side of the Texans O-Line has been pure shit for two seasons. Dude got shell shocked. He also injured his shoulder at the end of the 2012 season and Im not sure that wasnt an issue in 2013. Bottom line is no Houston QB had much success and that says something when you consider that they had in the past. T.J. Yates was worse than Schaub and Keenum was running for his life all day. Peyton Manning looked Schaub-like in the Super Bowl without protection. Alex Smith might look that way this season...

That's actually a good move, a stop gap starting QB with past success for nothing. It also allows them to not have to take a QB with their high pick.
Raiders are quickly becoming competition. |
