Well, we are adding to the family...
As some of you remember, last year, my wife had a miscarriage at 16 weeks. Real difficult process that took a while to come to terms with.

Today I'm happy to post that my wife is pregnant, again, and we just found out we are having our second boy. She's 17 weeks now and we are really excited that this pregnancy is going so well.

Hopefully everything stays great. What happened last time will always be on my mind until I'm able to hold them.

Trying to convince the wife that Dontari is a strong name for a white Italian kid but I have a battle on my hands with that one.

In all seriousness, we really love the name Jacob, only problem is that's our first's middle name.

Is it weird to have one child's middle name be the first name of your next child?

My wife says yes, my step dad has this situation with himself and his brother but they were named after their father. I don't see a huge issue with it, but admit it's strange.

To make it fair you'll have to use your first's first name as your second's middle.

I have my older Brother's middle name. Not weird at all.

I can relate. The wife and I went through a miscarriage then two months later (after we decided to wait a while) bam, pregnant.

Now I have a beautiful full of life 4 month old(who's clawing at my shoulder as I lay in bed and type this right now). It's something that's tough to get over, but when the little guy gets here, it's completely worth it.

Accept for bubble guppies. That's not worth it.

Anyway, congrats.
