The hate for Yuni is a bit too much IMO. He is a solid major league backup who I am sure most would love if we had a regular starting second baseman not named Yuniesky Getz.

He's a fine utility backup, if he's primarily used to pinch hit and not used to give people a day off and start 3 times a week. In a limited role that emphasizes his offense and tries to keep his glove in the dugout, I'd be less enraged at seeing him on our active roster.

When his avg dips below the Berroa Meter (.230) you may not feel the same.

Mariano Rivera appears to have been injured in outfield during BP. He is being taken off the field on a cart. Looks bad. #Yankees |

Here's Rivera in the cart, just now, after evidently injuring himself shagging flies during BP at the K. http://pic.twitter.com/zl2GdKxu View photo |

Dude playing 3rd for the Skanks last night bounced his head on the ground while diving for a ball, came up to bat the next inning and stepped out on the 3rd or 4th pitch and about went down. They had to help him off the field and thought he may have concussed himself bouncing off the ground
