Unless you do a lot of off road stuff they should work fine. As far as install price, check around, most of the shops charge by the hour and that can vary greatly. You may want to PM Jason.

In the performance car world, KYBs are popular especially as a cheap, better than stock upgrade.

If you do very light off roading, you're good.
These are above average and should do ok. |

I got 4 of the KYB Excel-Gs on line for $137, they had a $10 off for first time purchase and free shipping on the web vendor's site, and KYB had a $40 off 4 coupon on their site, so ended up getting four for $87. My mechanic will put them on for $50, so new shocks all around for $137. That'll work! Now, to look into deals on new brakes....

KYB is barely a notch above factory. For some applications, they might as well be Monroes.
I'm sure you'll enjoy them though. Anytime you replace shocks, especially bad, worn out ones, you'll notice a difference and that difference is enough to satisfy a person. |

Well, I've got 238,000 miles on the original shocks that are on it now, so it's gotta be a lot better for $137!

I'm getting screwed on this Saab stuff! That's the price of just 1 of my Konis! - Then I had to put them on myself!

I'd go with nipple clamps.

That's because Koni makes a beast of a shock. They're considered one of the top manufactures out there. Going from a Koni to a KYb is suppose to be a considerable downgrade.
