LDT: Untapped Potential Or Just A Guy?

http://www.arrowheadpride.com/2016/4...rdif-potential

Nice write up with some .gifs

I don't think he is giving LDT enough credit for how far he's come along in just two years. The fact that he was starting last year and showed flashes is impressive to me. I didn't expect anything from him till at least year 3 being how raw he was and the level of competition he was playing against.

I do agree that he needs to improve in year 3, but I don't see any reason why he won't. Last year was a great learning experience for him and playing next to Schwart/Fisher should help alone. Hopefully, despite what Dorsey has said, he ends up back at LG.

The best part of these gifs was watching Morse work, loved the second one where he holds his responsibility until the last second then looks to knock 92 on his ass

Elite looking play from the rookie

Morse is a ****ing boss that had a great rookie season, which was unfortunately overshadowed by and even better one by Peters.

Fingers crossed after those concussions though.

I agree.
He is not giving LDT enough credit with how far he's come along.

This guy does a pretty good job of breaking things down, but does he really think that LDT, after playing against such inferior talent at the Canadian college level as a LT, coming in and working at LG during his rookie season and into the third game of the preseason of his second year before switching to RG is going to just hone and refine his technique in a single season at that new position?

Of course he's going to over think things.

I am digging what you're selling here.

Even if he doesn't become a great guard, he's a serviceable cheap player. That's nice.

Adding OL that fit the height/weight/size/athleticism matrix that fit your system in the mid rounds provides significant value. Fulton and LDT have been big values over the last year.

IMo you should add one every other year bc it's good business.

Max Tuerk, Evan Boehm, Connor McGovern, Joe Dahl and Willie Beavers are all guys who will go from Rd 3-5 and would be great values.

The analysis only confirms what I sensed during the season, and it was indeed ugly often. I think you cut the dude, I've seen enough and just move on. I'm not interested in anymore projects, anymore guys who used to be Ping Pong studs trying out the NFL. As long its not that worthless dude who Grubbs replaced move on. They should draft Garnet from Stanford #1 and solve this nightmare now.
