Our team is soft. Jamming our receivers at the line pretty much ends the play.

The book is out.
We are a SOFT football team. These finesse speedsters look great when they’re given a free release. But when they get pushed around a little they completely crumble. The NFL is a game of adjustments. We need to adjust or we will continue to struggle. |

When you’re expecting Byron Pringle and a rookie to be your big outside WRs it’s gonna be tough

This team is soft, but when healthy we can score so quick teams have to abandon their plan just to keep up. Im sure most teams game plans are to run the ball and keep the Chiefs O off the field (minus the other few elite offensive teams who say F it and welcome a shootout). We never see it because we score so fast and often those game plans have to be tossed aside. The Colts got lucky and got us at the right time and they got to shove big boy football down our throats. The bad thing is we are soft in the trenches on both sides, usually those teams get exposed in the playoffs.

Having Pringle as your #1, Hardman as #2, and Robinson as #3 receiver (essentially what happened tonight) is not ideal. We miss Hill badly and Watkins being out showed how significant that really is.
We’re playing with 2 guys (Pringle and Hardman) who basically are just figuring out how to play in the NFL and another (Robinson) that doesn’t have the ability to beat man coverage on his own. Andy NEEDS to figure out how to scheme around this till we get a healthy Watkins and Hill back. |
