Fan signs at stadiums - question

My son decided to make a sign for the game tomorrow. On it he put a big "NBC" thinking this helps his chances of getting on T.V. Does anybody know if that is real in terms of making much of a difference? Is it ever a bad idea in that it might not be liked by the NFL Network or anything like that? I remember a time when people really went out of their way to do this and it seemed to work, but thought that whole thing had kind of died out.

Related not related do they check for offensive signs at the gate? I wanted to take a sign that said throw it past the sticks smith but wasn't sure.

That's not offensive. You are merely encouraging a player on the team to positively advance the ball. Nobody would say anything if it read "Score a TD, Ware!"

Now if the sign said, "Hey Tyreek: Don't choke!" that might cross the line.
