Shut up for a ****ing minute and let me talk.
The Chiefs have been playing very well the past few weeks, which culminated in a really good game yesterday against the Bills when the team was super banged up. The offensive line in particular had new players at three different positions. On the last play of the game, both Dezmon Moses and Frank Zombo were playing at linebacker.
Looking at our playoff odds on the Playoff Simulator, our odds of making the playoffs actually get better if we lose at Oakland. Now, I am NOT advocating we throw the game against Oakland. The players we put in should play for the win. But it's ****ing Oakland, a miserable place to play. We're all kinds of banged up, with major and minor injuries, concussions, and guys on the team that could use a week off. And statistically, it doesn't matter if we lose to the Raiders because we've got the easiest remaining schedule in the league. All we need is for Pitt to lose one more game this season, and win the last four games of the year. Boom. 5th seed, going to Indy. Maybe we should try benching all of our critical players, and give our injured players the week off to heal? Poll coming. |

I won't advocate benching any starters, although I wouldn't mind if they let Houston and a couple of other banged up guys rest. I believe we split with Oakland anyways. I'm not expecting a win in Oakland next week.
Also, Direckshun....no more injury threads. |

Shut it. Your little bad juju threads nearly cost us the game on Sunday. As well as Bob Dole's refusal to ban GoChiefs, i'm positive some of you are purposely trying to tank our season with bad juju.

This is dumb. If we lose and three of the current 6-5 teams in the afc win this week we no longer are in a playoff spot and no longer control our own destiny.

They don't. That doesn't make any sense at all.
We'd slip out of the #5/6 seeds AND fall to 3rd in the division. This game is every bit as important as the Bills game...probably more important.
