An interesting point brought up on NBC's Sunday Night football show.
Peyton struggled on the deep routes today. Something we didn't see until the end of last year. So now defenses can take away the deep field and focus on stopping the short shit. That will be interesting because I wonder if it allows defenses to put a lot more pressure on Peyton than he's used to. The Ravens may have watched the film expecting decent armed Peyton. The Chiefs will be the first to adjust to real film. If they see a weaker arm, wonder what scheme we'll see. Sutton has been on and off when it comes to pressuring Manning. |
