Let us keep some perspective

We lost to a team we should have beat. New England, Seattle and Buffalo are all saying the same about us. Denver is saying the same about St. Louis.

We just won 7 out of our last 8.

Fact is we are still 7-4 with an excellent shot at finishing 10-6 or even 11-5. Records no one said we would have this season and that was before losing DJ, DeVito, etc.

We looked tired against the Raiders. Coming off of 2 big wins that were battles to the end then going on the road on 3 days rest and playing in bad weather, well...we lost. We should have won, we could have won but we lost.

10-6 may not get us in this year but it's still nothing to be ashamed of record wise. I think we have 11-5 in us.

It hurts watching us lose that way especially after we battled back after being down 14, twice. If the game is at Arrowhead we most likely are 8-3 but that's how it is.

So enjoy a nice long break, eat some turkey and let's get ready to piss-pound Princess Pey-Pey and the Donks.

Yep, and the Donks gotta play the Fins who are coming off 10 days rest then they get us on 10 days rest. The Donks can still lose to us next Sunday, and lose again to the Chargers and were back tied again. It's one game!

Gotta win 3 of 5.

I would hope we destroy Oakland at arrowhead after that mess.
San Diego at home we have got to win as well
So basically we have to get one out of Denver/Arizona/Pittsburgh

Wait, Pete is telling us to keep some perspective?

Is he in the process of becoming a trans-fan?

O-Line, rush D and WR depth were big questions coming in and still are.

Rush D was good. 1 huge fail. They were playing a team that has sucked at running so hard to give them a lot of credit.

Offense and Defense happened to roll snake eyes in almost every key opportunity to combine for a perfect storm to lose this type of game.

I just hope this isn't the beginning of another late season slide.

I think KC is going to beat Denver and everyone will feel better about themselves after that.

Should have dominated the Raiders.

You cannot waste a first half of football in the NFL.

You cannot just decline an additional possession at the end of the first half by not using your time outs.

The only guaranteed thing that was learned is that DAT cannot be trusted to field punts in a contested game. Hammond was back there and did very well. Inexcusable mistake that killed a drive before it ever started by DAT. He's had several of those in the past few games.

Perhaps being the laughing stock of the league this week will light a fire under the Chiefs, and wrench Andy's head from the deathgrip his sphincter has on his neck.

Here is some perspective. We could have reached 10 wins by beating the crappy Raiders twice and SD at home. Now we must beat either Denver, AZ or Pitt to reach 10. Without a passing attack that will not happen. We will be stuck at nine wins most likely and sitting at home.

We better beat Denver because road trips to Pitt and AZ will be losses.

It might, but I don't think for the same reason. It would be because our final 5 games are not easy. It would depress me like all hell if we missed the playoffs, but I'd rather miss the playoffs feeling like we finished the season with a good team than make the playoffs (like last year) knowing we aren't any good.

When you lose to the Titans and Raiders, that is exactly what happens...
