Levi's Stadium Observations
This was my first trip to Levi's. I wanted to chill so we stayed at the Marriott and watched that amazing Giants game in the bar. Got to meet a lot of Chiefs fans that flew in. None of them had ever heard of Chiefs Planet. Guess our footprint isn't all that big in the community. Getting to Levi's the first thing I noticed was there sure were a lot of Chiefs fans and they were a boisterous group. 49er fans were their usual class act letting the Chiefs fans carry on without much trouble. There was one bad fan, but we all have one of those. The stadium was pretty awesome but if I had one word to describe all the hype it would be that I was underwhelmed. IT is certainly set up for the corporate experience. The seating is so tight you feel like a sardine. The food for all the hype around that was crap IMO. I can get better food for less at an A's game comparatively and certainly at a Giants game. They had tons of beer but none of the breweries that would have made it top tier. The parking situation is a nightmare. If you come in figure that out unless you like hanging for a long time after the game. That said the stadium is beautiful. the views are great. Concession walkways are wide so everyone isn't all over you. The steps between levels are very hip and you won't kill yourself on them if you fall. The seating is the best part. Doesn't seem like there are too many bad seats in the house. You all saw the game so I assume you don't need my take on that. If you come out the next time just know that there a lot of Chiefs fans out here. We really should put together a Northern California chapter.

Interesting. Are they all Alex fans, or actual Chiefs fans?
Probably due to all the 9er qbs we've had over the years...

Alex Smith Jersey's were the most popular but many of them were niners. LOT's of Derrick Thomas jersey's. You could certainly hear Chiefs at the end of the anthem.

I was at the Chiefs game and wasn't all that impressed with the stadium, based on the hype I heard about it. I guess anything is an improvement over the decrepit Stick so the fans are giddy about it. I agree, it does have good seating. Our tickets were a ridiculous $350 ea in section 200. Too many restrictions on where you can go for that price; no access to the Levis Club. Arrowhead is much better IMO.

I am in Marin County, so, would definitely be into meeting other Chiefs fans and CPers up here. I watched a game in the city with Keole, a dude who's on here. Cool dude, too.
I didn't go to the game but would go next time. Not sure I'd want to go to the Raiders game at the Coliseum. I went about ten years ago and it wasn't horrible but not really fun either. If I had a bunch of fans to go with I'd consider it. |

That was fun. I remember calling for Tui the whole 1st 1/2 and then he came in the game to open the 2nd half and made a bad pass. I immediately yelled "Bring Back Gannon".

You contradicted yourself BD you said the seating is so tight that you feel like a sardine then later you said the seating was the best part.
