This heat is all about the monologue, and it's a strong one. My votes:

#1 - Jaws. This one really keeps me engaged and interested. That actor really nailed it.

#2 - A Few Good Men. Gotta love Nicholson. Great monologue. But it didn't feature any shark stories.

#3 - Misery. Kathy Bates did a great job in this. But again, no sharks, and the anklebreaking wasn't fun to see.

Tough heat. I want to vote for a few good men. But the Indianapolis speech is just too good to not get my vote. Any runner ups moving on to round 3?

I think I saw on a behind the scenes show that Shaw was having trouble getting that scene down. He decided to get really drunk and then nailed it in one take. Something like that.

Depending on the number of ties we have, we'll most likely bring 5 or so wild cards into Round 3. It's the right thing to do.
