One question. Can pick any player or who think will be there at the CHIEFS picks?

Great idea. You should select the top five and then do a spinoff poll with those drafts. Then announce your personal favorite after the poll has closed.

It's who you think will be there when the chiefs pick.

Here it is....
1) Stephon Tuitt, DE, Notre Dame ( I didn't take Ealy because in KC's defense he isn't a 5-tech and would be an OLB) 3) Cody Latimer, WR, Indiana It was between Latimer and Bruce Ellington either way KC would be getting a very nice piece to add to the mix at WR. 4) Cameron Fleming, OT, Stanford I used the CP Mock to base the first four rounds but me thinks IRL Fleming will be gone by this point. *** the rest is a smokescreen or not you devilish bitches *** 5) Devon Kennard, OLB, USC 6) Isaiah Lewis, SS, MSU 6) Andrew Jackson, ILB, Western Kentucky As a rookie what if Ealy was used as a DE on passing downs? Hali, Houston and Ealy would be a nice pass rush. |

1st - DE - Stephon Tuitt - Notre Dame
I like his physical skill set just a bit more than Hageman and he's shown better effort overall. I see less bust potential. Tuitt is quick enough to get after the QB but more than stout enough to set the edge. 3rd - WR - Mike Davis - Texas I'm going to "reach" a bit here because I like Davis' overall skill set better than most of the wideouts that should still be around. Davis has almost identical physical attributes as Jeremy Maclin, whom Reid took in round 1 in 2009. Davis gets open and catches the ball away from his frame, a huge plus. 4th - OL - Trai Turner - LSU If I were a betting man, I'd say Turner will be gone by round 4, but so far the draftnik sites have him slated somewhere in the range of round 4 to 5. Its a tough call to say he will be there, but its possible. I'm rolling with it as it sits at the moment. I really like everything about Turner. He is tenacious, can pass and run block, and he block on the move. He looks to be a starting calibur guard in the NFL by year 2. 5th - ILB Khairi Fortt - California This is a guy with all the tools that made a premature jump to the NFL. He needs to develop and learn to read the field better. He can be a major asset on special teams given his physical gifts, while he learns to play the game. 6th - CB Travis Carrie - Ohio All you have to do is watch this kid play to know he's got a solid chance at becoming more than just a solid contributor in the NFL. He was a team leader on and off the field and worked his way back from an injury that caused him to miss his Junior year. He's a lock-down type of corner with great measurables in every way and production to match. He's a guy that should be looked at as a day two prospect, but he's not getting the recognition. 6th - OLB Cassius Marsh - UCLA I really don't think that he's going to get drafted as high as some sites have him rated (5th round) because he's going to need a couple of years to truly develop into an NFL ready player. He needs serious strength development in order to be a contributor. He has the attitude that you want in a defensive player, but he won't be ready to be a significant player in 2014. |

Draft picks…
1st – DE/DL Stephon Tuitt, Notre Dame, 6’6”, 304 4.92 – DeVito, Poe, Tuitt, enough said. 3rd – WR/PR Jared Abbrederis, Wisconsin 6’1”, 195, 4.50 - Great value in 3rd round. Jared in 2013 had 78 catches, 1081 yards with 7 TDs. He had 2 TDs rushing. Also has had 78 punt returns and 31 kick returns in college career at Wisconsin. Abbrederis had a good Senior Bowl week. 4th – OL Cameron Fleming, Stanford 6’5”, 323, 5.28 5th – ILB or OLB Max Bullough Michigan State 6’4”, 249, 4.78 – Rose Bowl suspension hurt Max’s draft status. 6th - FS Tre Boston, North Carolina 6’0”, 204, 4.59 - 95 tackles and 5 interceptions in 2013. 6th - ILB or OLB Tyler Starr, South Dakota 6’4”, 250, 4.95 - Tyler looked really good at the East West Shrine week of practice. His 40 time not impressive but has good quickness. Needs to get stronger. |
