Uh oh, KSU hoops fans
KU coach focusing on Iowa State, not KSU guard’s actions
By Tom Keegan Toward the end of the KU-KSU game, K-State's Denis Clemente struck KU's Tyrel Reed in the side of the head. It wasn't noticed during the game but drew considerable attention after. Kansas State guard Denis Clemente elbowed Kansas University’s Brady Morningstar in a way Saturday that drew a technical foul and helped to turn Saturday’s Big 12 game in KU’s direction. But what Clemente did later with his right hand did not get detected by game referees. Late in the game, after Clemente shot a free throw, KU’s Tyrel Reed boxed him out and started to drive him back. Clemente responded by smacking Reed on the right side of the head with his open right hand. If the Big 12 launches an investigation into the matter, it won’t be because Kansas coach Bill Self asked for it. “Yes,” Self responded when asked if he saw it while watching game tape. “I’m not going to do anything. I’m not calling any attention to it. But, yeah, I saw it. You can’t help but see it if you watch the tape. But, no, I’m not going to do anything. It’s a dead issue. That game’s over, so we’ve got to put our focus on Iowa State. I’m definitely not going to spend any time on that.” Big 12 spokesman Rob Carolla said "the Big 12 Conference is reviewing the situation that occurred near the end of the Kansas-Kansas State game on Saturday." |

Suspend him for our upcoming game against North Carolina Central, a 1 win Independent Division 1 team. I'd be fine with that.

How bad does your RPI take a beating for this NCC game?
I have read that you can win by 35 and still drop down to like 75 in the RPI... |

Anybody got a link to a free RPI site? I used to use Kenpom but now it won't pull up the 2009 RPI; just previous years.

Kenpom refuses to use RPI now because he (Ken Pomeroy) believes RPI to be useless. FWIW Realtimerpi has K-State 76. Kenpom has K-State 38. K-State is likely to finish 4th or 5th in the Big XII. |

If we lost it, it would for sure be a killer!
I don't see a dramatic swing from winning it, tbh. But no, losing @Oregon, and not having a high quality OOC win, and not enough marquee in conference wins will hurt us. |
