Dealing with Dew
I've been living in Missouri now for 4 years after 14 in Nebraska.

Living in huskerland you could stroll out your door in the morning and come back without looking like you danced in puddles.

Here in Missouri, it's like my yard is a swamp until 11am, and that's on sunny days.

Ok, so I must not know the footwear tricks.

Do you guys pull a mister Rogers and change shoes every time you leave or come in your house? Do your wives just love the trail of wet debris? Personal assistants to clean up? Rubber overshoes? Dirt floors? Never leave the house til noon?

Can't see many other options. What do you guys do?

That seems extreme. It won't be like that for very long. Are you sure the sprinklers are running? I have lived in Springfield and never had a problem like that.

I don't think I've ever seen a home that doesn't have a walkway. Not really sure how this is an issue. If you're that concerned, wear sandals.

Slip-ons (winter they tend to be boots, summer they're sandals/clogs). Every member of my family pretty much as a pair of "mud shoes" on the back porch that they switch into when outside.
