Buddy of mine has a traverse and says the clearance is poor. If that matters to you.
I believe the Acadia is unibody. I think the Durango is full framed. For whatever that matters to you. |

I'm looking into a 2003 Kia Sorrento. It only has 70,000 on it.

Have a 2009 Saturn Outlook XR. 118,000 miles, 21-22 hwy mpg - 16 mpg in town. On its 3rd steering rack (1 under warranty), runs like a top, great to drive on highway and trips. Never use anything but synthetic oil (Mobil 1, Castrol Edge etc) because this motor really stresses the oil.

GMCs aren't knows to be great SUVs and the Acadia is know to have big reliability issues from what I've read.

I would be definitely checking on that timing belt, the u joints and drive shaft sucks.
I think you can buy the whole assembly for 400 bucks now though. And they have issues with the drivers window switch assembly. Other than that I haven't seen much else. Usual brakes and stuff. |
