Non spoiling spoiler - Rambo finally, but heroically, dies in this one.

Rambo 4 was one of the last few good movies I saw in the theater. If you've only seen the Director's cut, you are missing out on a lot of blood and violence. The Theatrical cut is definitely the way to go.
I was pretty disappointed by the Expendables, so I kind of wish he had stopped at 4. |

I really liked it. It was nice to see an action movie with over the type violence and action, instead of just another pg rated comic book movie. It was a nice throwback to the better 80's Golan-Globus flicks. No plot - just victims.
It would probably be in my top 5 Stallone movies. Rocky (1976) First Blood (1982) Nighthawks (1981) Rambo (2008) Cop Land (1997) |
