Athletes play to win!
If I were a Chiefs player, AND had even a 5% CHANCE of making the playoffs to continue my season (plus possibly earn some playoff bonus money) I would be busting my butt to WIN ON SUNDAY.

I'm disappointed in the small, vocal minority CP arm chair fans who think moving up 3 spots in the draft or making a Alex Smith point is more important that winning.

Worse, wishing or celebrating injury or death on a Chiefs is pathetic...and those CP posters should be taking a "vacation" from CP so they may reflect on their stupidity.

I strongly believe all the "debbie downers" on CP never played or excelled in serious organized sports. Otherwise, they would not be making the comments they do.

Man up! Truthfully share your level of serious organized team sports.

It's a mixture of attitudes just like there would be in any group of people. Some of those guys will be like "f*** it", some will be professional and give their best effort, some will want to pad their stats, some want to make a case for keeping them on the roster through the offseason, etc etc. But I'm sure the coaches and front office want them to win.

I'd venture to say probably 75% of our players already have their bags packed for their off season homes, and could give a shit if they win or lose. This will be evident at midfield after our loss when our guys are shooting the shit laughing and smiling.
