Under the video it says that's in Jeffrey's Bay. That's #2 out of the top spots in the world for surfing due to the consistency and quality of the break.

Video @ 5:33
"This is the first time in professional surfing history that ... I never experienced it - nobody ever experienced it ... a situation like that when a surfer is attacked by TWO sharks..."

I'm surprised he didn't leave a brown cloud in the water.

Call me crazy, but I wouldn't surf in areas that are known for lots of shark activity. This isn't the coast of the US where there are just a few/handful or so shark sightings in shallower swimming areas throughout a season. This is South Africa. Seal Island is in this region, and it's a shark feasting mecca. I understand shark attacks are not so much sharks "wanting" to feast on humans but more so the fact they investigate with their bite, and commonly mistaken a human on a surfboard for a seal or some other form of prey. I just would hate the be the guy who gets a foot or leg chomped off and then the shark just goes "oops my bad you're not a seal" and then swims off. No thanks I'll surf somewhere else.

Those two Great Whites gorged themselves on seals then toys with the last baby seal ( the surfer dude) sending a message. Today you live but next time we may be hungry and you will be one more of my turds on the ocean floor soon after digesting all I can of you.
