The truth is

With perspective I realize that this game wasn't going to impact my feelings about this team regardless of outcome. The next month will truly tell us what this team is made of and if we can go undefeated the rest of the way home then this game can potentially be forgotten. Now if Denver's only loss is to us and we tie, but they have a better division record.....then yes I will refer back to Derek Carr's Tebowing for the camera as the undoing of our season, but I just believe we have a truly tough-minded team and I see us finishing these last 5 games 5-0. 12-4 is my new prediction(while my old one was 11-5 if anyone cares/remembers) and I am praying for Peyton to lose either @ Cincy @ SD but ofcourse I'll be flat out begging my TV for them to lose against Miami this weekend(who will finish @8-8 and will not be any sort of real threat to the wildcard)

I could really care less about that Raiders game. If anyone is actually sobbing over this game needs to **** off.

I agree OP, lets not over-react to a team that played desperate and clearly wanted it more.

Last night was Oaklands superbowl, let them enjoy the only win they'll get all season. We have a playoff run to worry about.

Meh...The *truth* is that the Chiefs did exactly what everyone predicted, they would crap their pants on the national stage. It's what KC always does and why 80% of the nation expected it to happen according to ESPN.

I'm not pissed about the loss, no, I'm frigging pissed that going into last night, I was actually starting to feel confident about this team, that it had turned a corner and the 'loser virus' had left the building.

Nope, KC shit themselves on national tv, like KC always does.

as bad as it was, the silver lining is I bet a die hard homer here at work a Chipotle burrito that the Chiefs would lose.

score.

(this guy is a true fan on steroids. sort of embarrassing, really. )

I'm with op, this will not be the start of a swoon.

We started 0-2 then went on a killing spree to rival Micky and Mallory, this hiccup means almost nothing to me... time to get ready for Denver.

This is bullshit. We do not always lose on the national stage. Raiders got lucky after losing 16 straight and we were tired. With that being said this team to banged up to do any damage. May as well dump the rest.
