TB is a mess. When he was first drafted until this year I was on the fence about him. I said he just needs reps. He was being mentored by Nagy, who has a long track record of success mentoring QBs, and that sooner or later TB would get it squared up on the field.

Well, that hasn't happened. He's had a few flashes, but he sees the field less well than Alex Smith, and he's less accurate throwing intermediate throws. He seems to have a problem throwing to one side (can't remember if it's left or right), and I can't remember the last time a starting QB in the league had that kind of problem and was successful. long-term.

He really looks no better than he did last year. And I really thought with an entire off-season and preseason to get right, we'd see a significant improvement in his play. Butt that hasn't been the case.

The Bears need to seriously consider a way out of the TB situation and find another QB.

At this point, it might be better if the Bears signed CK. It certainly couldn't be any worse, and CK would be a one-year rental.

Don't they run an RPO-style offense in CHI? Meaning, it's TB's call sometimes whether he's going to hand-off or not, based on what he reads from the DE/OLB. Maybe part of the problem is that he should simply hand-off more often.

In hindsight if they would have known their offense would fall of a cliff to the point of becoming the worst offense in football do they still trade those 1st rd picks to the Raiders and sign Mack to that contract. Just seems like they had bigger holes to fill and their Defense was already pretty good before Mack. The insult to injury is now they dont have the draft capital or cap space to fill the actual holes they have. Trubisky sucks but what Ive seen out of 2-3 games this year is their whole offense pretty much sucks and the defense isnt that great either, both the Saints and Raiders ran roughshod all over them.
