I see Kennedy is back to being the piece of garbage he was last year.

Glad we’ve got him under contract for 2 more years after this one at 16 mil. per. He’s certainly earning it.

He had actually pitched pretty well, before taking the bump tonight. He was a flaming gas can this evening for sure

While that draft turned out to be super deep, and yes, he was an awful starter. He still wasn't a bust. Duncan or TK or hell PB if he ever comes back can correct me, but iirc he was a consensus top 5 pick. And he turned into a dominant reliver who if he didn't get hurt, would have been on the same level as Wade, Kelvin, and Holland. That's not a bust

I was always a big fan of Hochevar because he had multiple good pitches. He never figured it out as a starter though.

That said, he became a lights out reliever and won the clinching game of the Royals second World Series, so no way he's a bust.

The pick was between Hocheaver and Andrew Miller. Who was seen as bust until getting moved to a reliever role as well.

Ian Kennedy is doing the lords work. This was a pivotal series to lose on our journey to a Top 5 pick.

Luke Hochevar was also not a bust. Dude was a straight up borg in the 2015 postseason. We may not go all the way without him.
