Ok Fine Whatever, Lets Watch The Dumbass Pro Bowl

Not really seeing anything better on this afternoon at 2 central time, I suppose it'll be decent background noise as I putter around here doing some laundry and cooking

Currently watching these high school kids play flag football on the ABC pregame show... it will probably be more entertaining than the main event, lol

Oh about dynasties.

Just enjoy 'doing something different.' That's your true dream.

Who knows, maybe you'll start a revolution. Instead of a parking lot full of BBQ fans gathering to watch mediocre football, you'll spearhead a parking lot full of sushi fans gathered to watch more [different] mediocre football.

Show me two or three parking lots full of sushi eating fans with dynasty football teams and I will open up the first booth. Show me a single dynasty with Alex Smith talent at QB. Your analogies suck.

Isnt it yours? Or do you enjoy not winning a playoff game at home since 1993? And do you enjoy not winning the afc championships for 50 years?

Ill try different , please.

Kthx bye

If it helps, the game actually ended with a strip sack by the defense and a fumble recovery by Von Miller.

Well, that game was pathetic. Missed most of it and wasn't disappointed. Mostly, I saw what looked a lot like Chiefs poor tackling attempts and the play being blown dead due to, dare I say it, forward progress? As someone that has watched the Chiefs for their entire existence, I am excited about the new direction. Finishing badly simply means a better draft pick. After all, what has the past five years really accomplished? Two seconds and a first given up attempting to find "that guy" at quarterback.

In my opinion, if this team is really going to go in a different direction, it would include hiring of a different head coach. Not one that was fired or decided to quit for a while.

I agree with the football (or quarterback) purgatory discussion; a mediocre to good quarterback will get you regular season wins however it does nothing to really better the team.

Meanwhile, the defense has gotten old and the offense is wasting years of cheap players contracts.

Will the Chiefs win it all with Mahomes? No one can say for certain. One thing that appears fairly certain is that the last 34 years of trying the way that pretty much every team that is successful doesn't do it shows that there might be a better way.
