GoPro advice
So I got a GoPro for christmas and I'm just getting around to really messing around with it. Anyone have any advice on good editing software?

The GoPro software seems kinda wonky, I have iMovie and it's pretty good, I have tried a few others - DaVinci and Blender - but both seem to crash on my laptop - MacBook Pro Sierra OS 10.12.1.


Any suggestions would be appreciated.

We build classic Ford resto-mods. We use the GoPro for filming installations, creating little updates for our customers across the country and showcasing products in social media.

We also use it for filming cool events like SEMA.

It really depends on how long you will be on your adventure and how much the camera will be running. I have brought along as many as 10. Another thing to consider is there is a huge difference in memory cards. I have had some issues with SanDisk but Lexar has never let me down. What do you have, the HERO4?

Also, GoPro has that "fish eye lens" thing going. Adobe Premiere has a pluggin that corrects that if you don't want that effect.

Because the GoPro is so small, it's fantastic for showing installations because we can get it into small areas that you can't with a standard camcorder and the resolution and focus still stay sharp.

Yup! I bought off-brand stuff on Amazon and got twice as much as my buddy. I got some bundle that has attachments for everything you can think of and a yellow bobber in case you drop it in the water for pretty cheap.
