Any 50"+ tvs worth buying under $400?
See title.
My Samsung 46" has finally died pretty much all the way and it's not worth buying another tcon board and repairing again so I'm in the market for a new tv. Was thinking about buying this but don't know how good it truly is. I'm not a hardcore videophile so I don't need the best tv on the market. Just something I can watch movies on and play a couple hours of games on a week. |

I'm kind of wary on shipping tvs. I've seen a lot of horror stories.

I have never ordered a TV online, but I have used Amazon's return policy several times and never had any problems. Wouldn't bother me to try.

Amazon has a great return policy for TVs and last I checked no return shipping cost or restocking fee for defective. I bought a 65" from them about a year ago and panel was flawed. They hauled it off and gave me a full refund with minimal effort of submitting an online refund claim.

Get the vizio m series if you don't have a sound bar and e series if you do have a sound bar/audio set up.

If you can wait a little bit the 2016 Visio M series or more promising P series those would be a good place to start and great bang for the buck. There was a nice technology jump with the 2016 models, most notably being HDR.
