This is funny and frustrating.

I entered the KC Star contest for two "great" tickets to the Stones concert on Saturday. I figured I'd enter just for fun. I WON!

The Star asked for my info so I could pick up the tickets. This was right after the contest ended at 4:30. I sent them my info and then suddenly they sent out a tweet that the winner (me) was ineligible because I didn't follow KCStar on Twitter. Of course, I follow them on Twitter. That's how I knew about the contest! They finally agreed that I was right, but they gave the tickets to another winner. It was just a mistake on their part.

Well, thanks for that.

Umm, they are giving away tickets like crazy. Maybe they do not have anymore great tickets to give out. But they have more to give if you push. If not have them buy you tickets. Blasting them back publicly would do it for reneging and probably giving to a friend. You can get them for 57 now on stubhub. Probably cheaper tomorrow.
