Name of a historic KC Italian restuarant

It used to be located at the current location of Garozzo's, at 526 Harrison. Rep to the first one to answer.

We still have Shakey's out here. When I worked on the west side, we'd have company lunches at the Santa Monica location and the pizza was awesome. It was "All You Can Eat" with various pizzas, drinks and salad for something like $6.99.

Love Shakey's!

Do they still do that neon player piano under the blacklight? I also remember the window with the man inside tossing the pizza dough.

It was good but nothing like my grandmother's or my mom's and nowadays, mine.

I doubt that the restaurant the thread header was looking for in the OP was "Dane's Grandma's House that's awesomer than other people's"

Sounds like grandma could have used a break. Did anyone think to ask her if she wanted to out for supper?
