Let us keep some perspective

We lost to a team we should have beat. New England, Seattle and Buffalo are all saying the same about us. Denver is saying the same about St. Louis.

We just won 7 out of our last 8.

Fact is we are still 7-4 with an excellent shot at finishing 10-6 or even 11-5. Records no one said we would have this season and that was before losing DJ, DeVito, etc.

We looked tired against the Raiders. Coming off of 2 big wins that were battles to the end then going on the road on 3 days rest and playing in bad weather, well...we lost. We should have won, we could have won but we lost.

10-6 may not get us in this year but it's still nothing to be ashamed of record wise. I think we have 11-5 in us.

It hurts watching us lose that way especially after we battled back after being down 14, twice. If the game is at Arrowhead we most likely are 8-3 but that's how it is.

So enjoy a nice long break, eat some turkey and let's get ready to piss-pound Princess Pey-Pey and the Donks.

And just like last year, the Raiders are the "best" BAD team in the NFL. Which one would you rather be?

For once I agree with Pete.

A #1 or #2 seed is still in play, fer crissakes.

We will have to drop down to a game above .500 for me to lose my shit.

If we win next Sunday, all we have to do is beat Oaklands ass at home, which I know we will want revenge, then we get SD at home to end the season and earn our playoff ticket.

Patriots -- Lions, @ Packers, @ Chargers, Dolphins, @ Jets, Bills

Chiefs... not sure they can make up the 2 games to get there with NEP, much less they have to take the division from Denver.

A whole lotta crazy has to happen there.

Realistically it puts talk of home field to battling for a wild card. The loss was that bad. Look at all the 6 plus win teams. It's crazy. We have 2 horrible losses just like the Steelers.

It will be very interesting to see what happens with the AFC North, a lot is tied up there.

It's probably taking 11 wins to secure a playoff spot this year. Otherwise you are hoping to hit on the tiebreakers. They have to win out at home and split Arizona/Pitt. Drop the Denver game and the Squeelers is a must win with all the afc losses.

If we win 10 games and two of them are PIT and SD, we have tiebreaker over 4 playoff contenders.

That would surely get us in.

But no home field. If by chance we do mange to beat the Cheating Donx, they are likely not going to lose to another division opponent - so they will own the tie-breaker with the Chiefs, should that end up being the case. I don't think it will. I think they beat us outright and end all this silly talk. I think KC now finishes 9-7 and is the odd team out of the playoffs. The Oakland loss was THAT bad. I think it was a season-changing defeat.
