GFs MacBook ****s up my local network

Example: When I am playing online using my PS4 and she is not home, everything runs perfectly. When I am playing PS4 and (the moment) she opens her Mac, the PS4 completely loses connection.

I've set a static IP on her Mac, and currently I am streaming Netflix on my TV (using the TVs wifi) without trouble. It seems to take a bit longer to load though.

However, when she uses the internet on her machine she has to click on the wifi symbol at the top to get the page to load quicker. If she doesn't do that, and types in the URL of something, it takes around 5 seconds before it will begin to load the page. It still does this even with the static IP set.

What the **** is going on? I want to smash things.

My theory~
Agreed. I am not familiar enough with Mac to know what to look for. I can see a list of processes running, but beyond that I am not certain.

I was wrong earlier. The problem still persists. Everything I find online seems to have no answer.

And for the other guys, I asked, she said no pictures. Too bad too, she is good looking.

Hi there "hometeam", this is pretty random, but I was just wondering if you have a character on GW2 named "Falx"? I'm also going by that name but since it's already taken I have to go with Fálx etc, and it's difficult for others to add me to their parties because of that. Therefore, I was wondering if it's any possibilities that you gave up that name, if you don't play it anymore that is? Would really appreciate it.

This is weird and stalkerish as **** that you have internet tracked me to here, but yes I own the name. You can have it if you wish to buy the account. This is a stupid place for this conversation. Please email me and it will come to my phone for instant reply.

Oddly enough I used to have this problem with a 2010 MacBook Air when running Tomato firmware on a WRT-54GL. Eventually the router burned out and haven't had the issue since moving to an AirPort Extreme.

I sat there and poured through logs and never saw anything. I never did packet captures but it was super frustrating.

Oh and you're going to have much better luck going to a tech related message board instead of one dedicated to sports ball.

Why so many people come here first instead of google has always baffled me.

Simple solution. Tell GF you get to PIIHB whenever her MacBook screws up your network. This is a no lose for you
