The former GM across the parking lot got his ass canned for this and also lasted far longer than he should have. Look how that's worked out. The Royals should follow Clark Hunt's lead and bring in a head coach/GM team that are actually committed to winning and know what it takes to do so.

Fair point. I would feel better knowing we at least tried to put a deal together with Shields + something else trying to make it happen. I'm doubting that even happened though, which is frustrating.
