Has Anyone Else Bought A New Gas Can Recently?
My old plastic gas can developed a leak, so I replaced it with a new one. Apparently, the federal government has mandated that all new gas cans be "spill-proof." Mine has a spring-loaded cap that you have to pull back, which exposes the spout which exposes the plug. Unfortunately, this "spill-proof" design makes it virtually impossible NOT to spill ****ing gas all over the place when filling up the mower...

I was outside, covered in fuel, basically laughing my ass off at the stupidity of it, and was wondering if others have had the same issues?

what's great is I took that POS can and it's POS nozzle, and now just fill my gas tank on the riding mower without a spout/nozzle. Yeah, you get gas everywhere, but after you fill up, you can set the can down, and ride off, and feel confident when you look at the can and say "**** you".
