OK Cassel got 28 million guaranteed...so if that is pro-rated over the life of the contract...you're looking at a $9.2 million cap hit for both years, right?

As the starter, Cassel was largely ineffective in guiding the Chiefs to a 1-4 record. The 2010 Pro Bowler’s $7.75 million 2013 salary is too much for a backup quarterback. Right, but his base salary is also unpaid.

We actually MAKE money against the cap if we cut him.
