Attending Chiefs Home Game vs. Raiders
Hi All!

After 42 years of being a lowly Chiefs Fan in the middle Pacific, (my earliest memories are of listening to George Blanda crush my hopes of another Chiefs Superbowl visit time-and time again on a crackly little transistor AM radio) I am finally going to see my first contest live and in person at Arrow Head. Believe me when I say I am stoked! Even as I write this my heart rate is climbing and the adrenalin is pumping. I'm bringing along my 87 yr-old dad who lives in SE Kansas and who also has never been to a Chiefs game. We've got seats in Section 327. Any tips/recommendations to maximize the experience will be gratefully received.

Make sure you get to your seats 15 minutes early. If you want to make a food/beer run do it after kickoff so you don't miss introductions and the national anthem. Have a blast! Also, if Winston gets a penalty unleash booing hell fury.

I am in the same boat. I've lived on the East Coast or West Coast my whole live and never been to Arrowhead. We are fans the same time and several years ago I had tickets and airfare from VA to see the Chiefs Broncos game but the Chiefs shit the bed and I cancelled. Didn't want to go watch a shitty team.

I'm glad you will go and the tailgating should be the best part.

Yes the game starts at 3:05pm. They usually open the gates 3 1/2 hours prior to game time. The tailgate is very fun.

Call the Chiefs in advance for advice on the best way to get pops around. They can tell you how to find an elevator, etc. The climb to the top level can be challenging for old folks, seriously.
