I like to make spaghetti sauce using the mccormick spice spaghetti seasoning envelopes - I base the sauce off of pure tomato paste, generally I'll thin it down w/ a mild broth. I like to add brown sugar to it - but at the end - I add a can of french cut (drained) green beans) - and also I will drip in some olive-oil. It's a nice white-trash meal - - I just remembered I also like to have a cup of cottage-cheese (small curd) - off to the side.
It's a lasagna sensation - only it's a little more refreshing because the cottage chs. is cold. Works out well though. Very nice example for you there.

I like those powdered spice kits better than most pasta sauce in the jars such as Ragu.
I grew up real close to the family that started American Beauty Pasta in KC. There daughter was my age and such a hottie. I had the biggest crush on her but was way out my league. The family sold to kraft and moved to Florida. I always like there powder spice for spaghetti. Kraft quit making it a few years ago cant find anything close. Ive tried McCormick but don't like its aftertaste. The closest ive found is best buy brand
