Yeah THIS. This and nothing but this.

I had a friend who got bed bugs and he did it and it solved the problem. His getting them caused us all to look into it and wow, they are a complete nightmare to get rid of.

I work at a hotel so we, on occasion, have a traveller bring them in. We have a bug guy that, when it pops it's ugly head up every couple months, will come in and kill them.

We used to use the high heat for sheets and such but there is a newer spray he uses that has been proven to work. I can ask him what it's called and how it works if you would like.

It always takes at least 2 treatments. Most of the times 3 treatments to completely get rid of the infestation.
Got them from a motel once. For the price of 3 treatments worth of chems and heat, having to stay in a hotel and all of those expenses, I said **** it, I threw out a bed, a room of carpet and pad as well as a luv seat that had had the little bastards. Thank goodness the motel reimbursed us for most of the cost.

Yeah, that's what the guy who sold me the powder said...sites say it covers them and sucks the moisture out of them...maybe after it slices them up...

That would be great; from my research there's this stuff called Phantom that is supposed to work.

Here's hoping for an extra hot Phoenix summer.

If these are still an issue by summer I'm going to do just that. Right now they're just in one room...I'll tape off that room, close the vent and have a couple of heaters blow into that room...I'm considering all possibilities right now...

Thanks for the advice everyone; I'll be checking back in if anyone has any more advice or experiences to share.

Well said.

No single approach works. It takes multiple tactics. There are different issues with different lifecycle stages. All stages will be present at any given time. And the ones you miss can go without feeding over a year.
