They are making it quite clear they are not in denial about their problems and what they need to fix to achieve greatness.

That's what's been great about Reid. They know they have to get better and you can see, every year, they try to get better.

No more Matt Cassel/Scott Pioli ineptitude.

I like it. It'll be interesting to see what Brit Reid can do as outside linebackers coach. He did well with the defensive line. I think that what people have been saying here is right. Andy is getting him trained up to get a DC job in the future.

Run game coordinator sounds like an offensive title. Is it standard on D?

I'm pleased as hell to get house and Daly. Now that we have house, yeah I'm a little surprised that not only is Daly a run game coordinator, he also solely owns his position group whereas house has to split with Britt Reid. I guess it makes sense if the logic is they think house will need a year or two to learn the NFL, which I'm sure he totally understands.

So Daly is run game coordinator in addition to d-line coach.

Had assumed Daly was hired to be future DC when Spags got a call for head coach somewhere. Offensive responsibilities means he is being groomed for head coach. Makes Matt House the future DC candidate.

I would guess Britt will look for a DC gig somewhere at some point. Possibly college unless he can get credit for a turn-around this year.
