Girl Scout sets up outside pot shop, quickly runs out of cookies

That is one really smart girl scout.

It's that time of year again. Time when your local market entrances are flooded with Girl Scouts selling boxes of Samoas, Tagalongs and Thin Mints. But one 13-year-old Girl Scout in San Francisco and her mother made a rather business-savvy decision to sell cookies outside of a medical marijuana dispensary.

On Monday, Danielle Lei and her mother set up shop outside the Green Cross store with the cookies. With the store's blessing, Lei sold 117 boxes in two hours.

Holli Bert, a spokeswoman for the Green Cross, said that after just 45 minutes, Lei had to call for backup cookies to replenish her stock.

Me too.

This sounds like the job of an Eagle Scout.

Setting up shop outside an establishment which sells drugs which have an age limit on it.

I trust you wouldn't be okay with them setting up a stand outside a liquor store, right?

Yes, but it's the gross kind. And that isn't all they sell. They aren't allowed to sell cookies outside strip clubs or casinos, either.

It's way worse to make pot out to be something that makes you love cookies. I mean, it's true, but I can't let my kids know that yet.

Its a good idea, but I'm sure the Girls Scouts as an organization will certainly have problems with it.
