Fact is, Mahomes hits those early throws he missed that were obvious TD’s and we change the ballgame with Hunt pounding them to death, defense be damned. Gotta jump out early every game. Opens up all the trickery bullshit that other teams can’t defend.

Mahomes made two very big mistakes in this game.

The defense made dozens.

Yeah, obviously Mahomes mistakes were costly, but I’ll take those two mistakes along with 40 points to win basically any game where his defense is competent.

There is no logical reason you can blame Mahomes for this loss. The kid had a few jitters to start, but he brought us back and even gave us a 4th quarter lead. This game rest squarely on Sutton and that defense for not being able to get a single stop when it was needed. Also how do you play gronk 1 on 1 with the game on the line. Mahomes was fine and how you can think otherwise is just confusing to me.

I can't blame him totally, he had a bad 1st half but got it to a tie, and then the defense shat the bed by allowing Brady to have the final drive to win the game. If Mahomes had the ball last and choked then I'd absolutely agree that he " Alexed" the game.

he had a rough first half, but came out and straight up balled the 2nd half. That's why I love this kid. But ya, if we don't settle for field goals and he hits those passes that would have been TDs in the first, we win. We gotta score 45 vs good teams this year to win, 40 just won't cut it and that's sad but it is what it is.
