Getting through Hydrocodone Addiction
Not Chiefs related but I’m going through hell. I was literally prescribed this crap for 10 years and then I moved out of state. I knew moving no other family doctor would prescribe them to me unless my back was jelly. I think I’m doing pretty good considering that it’s been about eight days with nothing after 10 years and having it every day. Anyone else gone through this?

If you've made it 8 days you're pretty much in the clear. Stay strong, and NEVER go back. There are alternatives to opiates. Use them to the fullest.

If you can do it alone, that's great but I'd suggest reaching out to Narcotics Anonymous at the very least. There are meds out there that can help tremendously with the withdraws/addiction. Check out what kind of treatment facilities are in your area and talk to them. PM me if you want.

I hate taking that shit, but I understand how people get hooked on it.

I ****ed my back up at work a few years ago, when I would go to visit the company doc he would ask me two questions.
1) how is the pain
2) if I needed (wanted) more pills

No wonder people get hooked on this shit with doctors like that.
