Sandbox Simulations is back! Welcome to the magical year of 2019!

Okay, we had some issues to work out, and it took a while. But we think we've got it ready to roll with a commercial launch. We're not quite ready yet, but we're close. We'll open for business in the next month or so.

As promised, you get a free membership (well, read the details below) if you were one of our beta testers. I went through the various Sandbox threads, and these are the people who had more than 25 posts, so I'm presuming that you all were active players. If you were an active player and you don't see your name on this list, pm me and we can confirm. I recognize that you may have played without posting in the threads.

We'll be launching commercially soon, so we've added a pay portal to the site and have done some other things to beef up the admin. But the game itself hasn't really changed other than a few fixes.

So if you're a beta tester, we have one last request for you. We're finalizing the pricing, but think it'll run about $18 per year. You're in for free after that for the life of the business with a special founders membership*, but we'll ask you to test the payment system as one last experiment, so we'll set the price at $1 for a short period of time so you can enroll**. If you invest $1, you'll get a lifetime membership valued at $600.***

* Nontransferable
** Scholarships available if the $1 fee is not viable for you
***Assumes present value of an $18 annual membership for 100 years at a 3 percent discount time value.

We'll get you the setup information once we're ready for launch. Thanks for the kind words. We're excited to get it rolling for good!

The new site will be open for registration later this month. Everyone's enthusiasm for the game has been a huge motivation for pressing through a number of obstacles.

If there is room available and someone wants to sponsor the future of this league, you can name the team that will make this famous for the low cost of administration fee and get a 5 season exclusive license on the team name and any and all marketing opportunities that come with it.
