Why doesnt Reid play with his Sausage more often?

I mean, where has Anthony Sherman been?

Feels like he hasnt been as involved this season?

I feel like Reid is ignoring one of his favorite tools.

Thoughts?

I’m not sure why this is so difficult for so many. You gotta be able to run the ball, and right now, we are absolutely refusing to even try.

That's an O-line problem. Sherman isn't really going to do anything to help that.

Balance will help. Having the best FB in the league lead block will help.

The ratio of pass to runs is horrific. We had a big lead and kept throwing.

It could be Andy trying to cover for the defense, I don't know.

I can't believe I am clamoring for Marty ball.

Thing is, that's the perfect balance for Mahomes.

I mean we can run more if Reid just chooses to run more. I don't see why Sherman needs to come in the game. The problem right now is line play, McCoy's health, and Reid going away from the run. Sherman being in or out of the game really doesn't change shit. We ran the ball well last year and Sherman was in the game a a grand total of 98 offensive snaps. He's not really important at all.

We don’t need MartyBall, we just need to be able to run the ****ing ball more than we currently do, I mean, Shady has been a averaging 5.4ypc. We got to use that more often don’t we?

Common sense says yes. This is Andy Reid we are talking about, though.

He sees everything in practice and knows more than all of us combined. He has to be trying to mask issues.

He's hurt. Saw it last game. He had that good run in the second half and immediately asked to come out of the game. It would be one thing if he had had a bunch of carries before that or if it was a really long run and he needed to catch his breath...but it was just 17 yard run and he immediately took himself out.

Whenever he gets back healthy I think we'll see us go back to running the ball more. The bye week can't come fast enough for us.

It’s an attitude, a power mindset that would serve this team well in spots every single game

Reid let’s himself get dragged from power football constantly, it’s always been that way and it’s indisputable

Meat and potatoes never goes out of style even with Mahomes

Some balance can only help him right now

Sherman is a spark plug.

Watch the whole team's reaction after any play that has his number called. If you don't think the O line would enjoy punching the defense in the mouth so Sherman can do the same, carrying the ball or not, you don't understand the trenches. Let the big guys get out and screen for him, or a 3 yard gain up the gut, whatever lets them fire off and try to punish someone every now and then instead of playing pass rush defense and catching jabs to the grill all game long.

Agreed. Smash them in the mouth with Sherman blocking and running. Face it, if PMII doesn't have the time to throw downfield it doesn't make any difference how many WRs are on the field.

Our running game would be so much more effective if we ran behind Sherman. He's literally the best fullback in football today.

We could run so much play-action out of the power I, 22 personnel, run iso Power O...there's so much we could do with Sherman that would be devastating to opposing defenses...
