Did any NFL "expert" pick the CHiefs against the Ravens? Lots of purple crow to eat this week.

It’s pretty sad how little they actually dig into the matchups before they make their picks.

The Ravens have obvious significant pass protection issues this year. The Chiefs have several really good pass rushers.

The Ravens have to blitz to get pressure, and even then they don’t get much pressure anyway. The Chiefs have one of the best pass protection lines in the league.

Jackson struggles as a passer against contenders (even when his protection was better last year). Jackson also struggles when playing from behind. Mahomes has always put up major points on defenses far better than what the Ravens have when his weapons are healthy.

This beat down was really predictable. The Chiefs are an awful matchup for the Ravens.

Many on here predicted the win including myself. It seems, the "experts" are enamored with a running game like the Ravens have. They always forget, it doesn't help much when you are down 3 scores.

And the problem for Baltimore is they can’t really build their Front 4 pass rush overnight. They’re about to be drowning in some very big contracts for Lamar, Stanley, Andrews, etc.

And even worse, they won’t fix their pass protection issues this season. They’re currently 31st in adjusted sack rate. Plus Lamar Jackson will have another 150+ carry season (he already has the two seasons with the most carries by a QB ever).

I don’t have a stat to back this up, but you have to assume that Lamar will take more total hits this year than any QB in NFL history when you combine ALL of those carries, QB hits, and sacks. David Carr was sacked 76 times in one season, but he didn’t have 150+ carries with that.

Lamar will never win the SB unless he can pass the ball a lot better. Playoff teams are normally good at stopping tje run and game planning. He loses the game at the line of scrimmage.

Spags was an evil genius on Monday to rival Andy's offensive shenanigans. Daring them to pass and then getting in Lamar's grill with disciplined pass rush that didn't let him get loose. Had our guys playing fast and aggressive.
