Yeah, that's a big part of why a lot of people love it.

It's all good, so long as you are realistic about how much of an outlier your take is. Somewhere on the order of 'Elvis was the worst singer ever, he was always shaking his hips like a sex-crazy moron!!'

WTF? Did the R rating confuse you in some way? Your kids couldn't even enter the film without your presence. The theater holds you responsible for the decision of letting you let your kids watch an R-rated movie that they clearly warn is not suitable for people under 17. The rest of the Marvel movies aren't like that because they're all PG-13.

I didn't watch it with my daughter. I just said that the rest of Marvel movies are family friendly. and I find movies like that to be offensive to me too. Not just to kids. I have watched plenty of R rated movies that aren't that offensive. It might be better on USA, where it's cleaned up. Like Casino. Awesome movie....on USA. But way too much foul language uncut. I get it that they were gangsters and that's how they talked. But I don't enjoy hearing that much foul language. A little bit mixed in is fine. But it was just too much in Deadpool and Casino.

not trying to argue with you on this. but that IS exactly what deadpool IS!!
a vulgar, loud-mouthed, pro-antagonist!

they specifically made the deadpool movie to cross the lines. both literally and figuratively. that's what this character (comic and movie) is all about.

I admit that I didn't know that prior to watching it. I just saw a new Marvel movie, so I watched it. I guarantee that I won't be watching the sequel. LOL. Just not my kind of movie.

that actually makes perfect sense. yup, the casual fan (RE: not the comic nerd, like me) more than likely had no idea what the Deadpool movie would be.

surprise buddy!!

after seeing those pics of the new characters, i'll be honest, im skeptical. but as i stated before RE: nerd.

p.s. i kinda wonder what DP will look like on USA. nevermind. i'll just watch it on dvd again.

Oh I'm a nerd alright. I love math, and building and troubleshooting computers and networks and stuff like that.I just never was a comic book nerd. I don't know why. I loved to read as a kid and I've loved most of the Marvel and DC movies. But for some reason, I just never got into reading comic books.

I'm the exact opposite of you on this. I hate R movies on cable channels. I'm always like "they cut out the word ****! It's not the same now!"

Dead pool on USA.... it would be 45 minute long and half the dialogue. Lol

The answer is in my previous posts. I just saw that it was a new Marvel movie, so I watched it. I didn't know that it was going to be Marvel meets South Park.
