This is exactly what Marvel did and ruined their comix.

Peter David is a big time liberal but he's my favorite comix writer. He does come at stories from a left perspective but he writes excellent stories - not advertisements for his political beliefs.

I don't have any problem with it.

And I don't care if you love or hate Trump. The point is that Marvel made a point of taking Cap, crapping on his character by making him a literal Nazi, and then creating a story that directly compares NaziCap to Trump.

People don't actually believe how bad Marvel has gotten and assume I'm just reading into things because of my beliefs. Uh, no.

I'd recommend "Incredible Hulk Visionaries - Peter David, Vol. 1, Vol. 2, and Vol. 3."

If you don't want to pay for them (and I would argue they're worth it) there are other ways to read them. I do highly recommend reading them though...
