Mahomes on 810 NOW

just started

1. Excited to have AFCCG at home.

2. Had a good game plan vs. Colts. Confident after opening 90 yd drive.

3. Knee is fine. Was fine after next drive started.

4. LDT: Awesome to get him back. Testament to his work ethic. He is a great player. Whole team has stepped up when given an oppty.

5. Watkins: He is special with run after catch. Ton of talent. Whole new dimension to offense. Watkins was really frustrated with his injury & PMVP happy to have him back.

6. Damien Williams caught his eye in OTAs. Could see the talent then, both run and pass. Only matter of getting accustomed to playbook. Great vision.

7. Been confident all year that executing game plan = success.

8. Got cold in Lubbock & didn't have indoor facilities while he was there. Reid keeps them outside for practice. Not worried about wind as he can throw through it. Doesn't feel like cold will affect him.

9. Brady has great history. Grew up watching him. But it's not "me v. him". "I play v. the defense." It's a team game.

10. Brady stands out because of his demeanor. Plays at a high level & nothing throws him. Works the game plan.

11. Thinks that his style will evolve to be more of a pocket passer as he gets older.

12. Hasn't talked to Kingsbury, but happy for his new job.

Did not know about the red moon on Sunday night. 10pm CST? (Super Blood Wolf Moon)

With the exception of this year, Bob has played Brady pretty well.

They also won’t have Gordon or prime Gronk this time

Yeah, I really like our chances here.
the one hole in Brady's game has always been that he's incredibly slow afoot for a professional athlete. I mean, like, old Dan Marino with two huge knee braces slow. Joe Namath now on his way to the broadcast booth slow.

If you collapse the pocket inside out, you can **** him right in the ass. It's always been the only way to consistently frustrate him.

This game is up to Nnadi, Jones, and Bailey, I think. If they can dominate the interior, we win big. If not...

I’m not so sure. I admittedly don’t know anything about punt protection schemes but looks like Darrell tried to chip him then let him through to double team some other guy. Was Charcandrick supposed to pick him up after that chip?

Say what you want about the guy - but he harped all last week the Chiefs would absolutely destroy the Colts. He also said the defense would surprise people and show up. He used solid arguments too.

Still don't like the guy, but did a good job last week breaking it down.
