Least Deserving Hall of Famers: Round 2, Heat 4.

78 players have made - or rather, not made - the initial cut. I'll present 7 heats in Round 2, and we'll cut that list down to the top 21.

As with Round 1, vote for the THREE least deserving guys clogging up the real estate of the Hall of Fame.

Man, this is a weak heat overall. I think a few players are going to thank the Broncos for getting out of the next round.

Paul Krause and Roger Wehrli clearly don't belong on the list, and Walter Jones can make a strong argument as well. Marvin Harrison and Curtis Martin will skate by in a weak round, as will Dan Hampton and Charles Haley.

Whatever for Dave Wilcox. He'll escape this round, I think, even though he's really borderline.

But the top three are easy.

1. Floyd Little. No business being in the Hall at all. 3.9 career rushing average and only one year above 4.3. No idea what the voters were thinking here. He's a candidate to go all the way.

2. Terrell Davis. At least Floyd Little got tackled quickly for nine seasons. Terrell Davis or whatever his name is couldn't even do that. All of his stats arise from having an offensive line that dove at knees. Completely unworthy.

3. Dave Casper. I saw him play, I think. I don't remember much about it because he was unremarkable in every way.

I agree with Rain Man. But in all fairness to Little, in his entire tenure the Donks sucked, never winning more than 7 games. The HoF had to give them someone.

I'm not really sure. There were a few teams with lots of Hall of Famers where the votes were dispersed, so he might've gotten in with only a couple of votes.

If you feel differently, you may cast your vote. But I think you know the truth, so I understand why you're abstaining.
