How would you prefer the Chiefs handle our CB needs?

Seems like there are wildly varying opinions on this, so let's see how people feel collectively.

The other thing is if we do want to have the option of franchise tag/trading jones in the event he out prices himself for us, we have to save the cap room to pull that off, whereas if we sign him we could just manipulate his cap hit for next year.

I know Morris Claiborne will be coming on the roster after two more games, but right now we are carrying 4 CBs and one of those is Rashad Fenton.

I have read that Juan Thornhill or Tyrann Mathieu could play CB in a pinch but that would mean Daniel Sorensen is then probably playing Safety. I like Daniel in the role he is in now.

So looking around the NFL, I like Mike Jackson Sr who is currently on the Dallas Cowboy's practice squad. He is 6-1, 210, 22 years old, played at U of Miami (FL) and was a 5th round (158) pick of the Cowboys. If you watch Miami games from the last two years, he looks like a decent CB. He was number 28 for Miami.

At the combine he ran a 4.45 40 time, 40.5 vertical (so he has hop and speed), 130 in Broad, and 13 BP. He has a size and speed advantage over Rashad that could be used on special teams and Mike could be developed into a good CB. I kind of see him like Charvarius Ward, which will make some of you cringe, but I think they both can become good CBs for the Chiefs.
