What a deal I just got!
About 15 years ago I bought one of those really nice Kirby vacuums from a door to door Kirby salesman. I think I paid around $1200. I've been happy with it and it still runs perfect.

Well about 6 months ago I decided to browse through this pawn shop and they just happened to have 3 or 4 of them priced from around $150-$200. I said to myself. "That's interesting". I left the store without grabbing anything as I was just do the curiosity visit anyway.

Well, last week I decided to go in to see if they had a cordless sawzall. Which they had several and I bought one with a 6 month no questions asked warranty for $40.

Anyway , they had a clearance section with two of the Kirbys. $17 and $22. I had them run them and they both run perfect so now I have 3 which is great because the wife never liked me taking it over to clean a rental. Now I have 2 spares bought for Rentals which makes them a business expense and a tax deduction.

Which now just triggered a thought. i wonder if I could hire a hooker to clean a house and write it off as a business expense.

Anyway Boy am I happy!

As a tax professional, yes you could hire a hooker for cleaning your rental and write that off as a business expense. Tax code only cares if you paid her for cleaning. If she cleans your pipe as well, that's just a bonus.
