21 years

Since Chris Farley passed damn how time flies. One of the few people that no matter how many times I have seen his movies, skits I laugh my ass off. Just think in 21 years how much comedy gold we have missed out on.

Just not the funniest ever.
Honestly your list is crap except for 1 legit top 10 talent. The rest are in top 50

Every one of them are 100 times better than Chris Farley. Just out of curiosity, which one do you consider to be the only one worthy of being top 10?

Belushi isnt even in the picture. George Carlin is top 10 and I dare you to post 1 you tube clip that will have you rolling in laughter of Pryor same for Martin. Foxworthy common you may be a redneck schtick good god. Jerry Clower really Grandpa Jones was funnier than that guy. Anyway back to work!

You're out of your mind. Pryor, Cosby, Murphy, Martin, and Carlin are all up there. The rest I pretty much agree, not even sure a few of them are top 50 to me. Never was a fan of Sandler at all.

And Martin was an SNL guy btw.

Pryor was kinda funny early in his career then he melted his face off freebasing coke and was never funny again. Martin used to come out with arrows through his head and call himself a wild and crazy guy. He was more funny in movies and skits written for him than his stand up act. Eddie Murphy made me life but funnier the Chris no way. My Dad would buy Cosby comedy albums along with Homer and Jethro play them on the consul stereo in the living room. Homer and Jethro were funnier. Carlin was a true genius top 10 in my book.

He just wasn't made for your generation. You're probably just sticking to people from your time, such as Charlie Chaplin.

He was good at playing a certain kind of character really well...had no shame, would do anything for a laugh (Chippendales skit) and that made him special. When my son and I ran into him a couple of years ago on Fremont Street, he hadn't aged so well.

Yeah. I knew that Martin was SNL. I put him in the wrong spot. Where is Bill Murray? He was my favorite SNL guy ever.

It's really sad when these brilliantly funny people kill themselves, with drugs, or by suicide or whatever. Usually bright, funny people are also bi-polar and have a very dark side as well.

Jonathan Winters was actually committed to an insane asylum for awhile when he was a young man.
