We might need to start thinking about Reiter or someone else being the more longer term solution.
He looked like the real deal at first, but the concussions are starting to bother me. As you said, it's not his fault, stuff happens. There's no way I'd offer him a long-term big money contract. I thought Devey did well and I'm really starting to see some promise in Reiter, a guy that was on the Brown's PS at the start of the season.

You could hear Erving talking shit to Browns Fans and flipping them off on every scoring play.

This OL is as fraternally protective of PMII as the 90's OL was with Montana

The entire line is that way. I think all of these guys would kill a guy to protect their QB.

Mahomes got knocked to the ground out of bounds against Cleveland and i saw one of our offensive lineman run over and help him up. We haven't seen that much around here since Joe Montana. I liked it a lot.

I think the scheme makes being the C pretty damn easy, but that's all the more reason why we shouldn't be overspending to keep Morse.

I hope the dude lands on his feet somewhere and has a long, productive career. But his time here should probably be over.

The center is considered the extra guy in this scheme. He pulls or goes after the 2nd level unless he has a NT right over him. If there is a NT then he gets help from one of the guards. Our scheme is hard on our guards but easy on the center.

Reiter can’t pull like Morse, but he can move people.

They need to let Morse walk. C is the easiest position to replace on the line. Chiefs need to focus their cash on more important players going forward (Hill, Jones, Ford).

Problem is..I doubt that happens.

Reid likes Morse a lot, and I think Reid will take care of his fat guys. It's a bad decision IMO, he has a problem staying healthy. His concussions are a concern, but every boss has their favorites.

But the backup OL guys have been impressive. And w/ Erving playing a lot better, I no longer think this team needs 2-3 OL..Chiefs could probably get by drafting just 1 fatty in next year's draft...focus everything else on defense.

ALL levels of the defense need help bad. So IMO, its defensive BPA w/ picks 1, 2, 2, 3, and then perhaps maybe a OL in the 5th. (no 4th due to Ragland IIRC)

I was under the impression Reiter was faster quicker and stronger than Morse. His combine numbers say as much

Reiter Rooter and Wylie Coyote are looking great. When the Canadian Doc comes back we could have one of the best lines in the NFL.
